CM Update 8/2/09

Matthew 4:17 - From that time Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

Repentance: Turning from self to God. Casting off the works of sin and submitting yourself to the work and will of God. The correct choice is obvious, but the willingness to do so is not natural. Thus, Jesus began to preach and preached throughout His ministry repentance. We to need follow the lead of Jesus in calling for repentance. It is not an easy word, but it reaps a good reward.

• Next Wednesday is our CM Water Olympics. Please pass out the fliers in the 4yr thru 5th grade classes.
  
• The August CM Schedule is posted online.
• CM Graduation Sunday is quickly approaching.
• Graduating kindergartners move into the 1st & 2nd Grade Class.
• Graduating 2nd Graders move into the 3rd thru 5th Grade Class.
• Graduating 5th Graders move into Abide (Jr. High).
• Note, children 4 years old and under move based on their birthday and maturity level
• We will be having a 5th Grade Graduation dinner to celebrate the 5th graders moving up on Tuesday, August 25th.
